Suitable
Most people with histamine intolerance tolerate this food well.
Tiger nuts (chufa) are edible tubers of the yellow nutsedge plant, known for their mildly sweet, nutty flavor and high fiber content. They are generally very well tolerated in histamine intolerance in their raw (unroasted) form, as they do not contain high levels of histamine or other biogenic amines and are not known to act as histamine liberators. However, caution should be used with roasted variants, which may be tolerated poorly according to the SIGHI classification.
